URBAN DECAY SMOKED PALETTE LOOK #2

I love the Urban Decay Smoked palette so much that I decided to do another look with it to show you guys how versatile it is. This time I went for a sort of neutral toned smokey eye.

The colors I used are Barlust on the lids, Backdoor in the crease and Mushroom in the inner tear duct

URBAN DECAY SMOKED PALETTE

I picked up the Urban Decay Smoked palette recently and I'm in love. First off, I love a smokey eye like the rest of them and this palette delivers on both coloured and neutral smokey tones. If you like your smokey eyes neutral, Freestyle, Backdoor and Barlust is perfect but you can also get a green, purple and blue smokey eye in Loaded which is a dark green, Rockstar which is a dark purple and Evidence which is a beautiful blue seen on my lid in these pics.

The Smoked palette comes with ten eyeshadows and is housed in a soft zippable pouch that resembles a wallet. It also comes with a little booklet that contains a number of looks that includes step by step instructions on how to achieve each look. The colours are super easy to blend as is expected of the Urban Decay shadows and wears well throughout the day.

In true Urban Decay style, along with the ten shadows is a mini size Urban Decay primer potion and a full size 24/7 Perversion Glide on pencil. That truly sweetened the deal for me but honestly, at $49, the shadows alone would have been good enough.

Overall, an amazing palette. Urban Decay truly delivered on this one. This palette is a must have and is a great accompaniment to their Naked palettes. It's no wonder the Smoked palette has been getting rave reviews. It is one that will be a staple in my kit and personally for a long time. Available at sephora.com

LAVENDER EYES

I'm loving the colour lavender right now. I think it all started when Kelly Osbourne got lavender hair and I just loved the way it looked. Being that I can't have lavender hair, I decided to do lavender eyes instead. This look was inspired by her hair colour so I hope you guys like this one. Leave a comment below and tell me what you think : ))

BERRY EYES & LIPS

I am loving the new Fall makeup trends with bold eyes and bold lips. The nudist in me def wanted to keep the lips nude as in the first pics but I just wanted to step outside of my comfort zone and went for the bold lips as well. I loved it!. I have another look coming up in which I went even darker on the lips that I can't wait to share with you guys so stay tuned for that. Hope you enjoy : ))

Today's makeup feature is on Kelly Rowland. If you have any doubt that her makeup is smoking (no pun intended), keep reading to see why we chose her for our next feature. Her face is sculpted and precisely contoured but she mostly goes for neutral colours, bold smokey eyes and pops of colours. She plays up her most desirable features, highlighting her eyes one day and her lips the other. See the looks chosen as her ten best!

ONE COLOR DARK SMOKEY EYE

So fall is almost here so I've been paying more attention to the darker, more rich colors in my eyeshadow palettes and lipsticks. Never mind that dark eyes and lips is in for the fall so this look is just an hello to fall. This time I did a smokey eye using one lonesome dark green color from my Sleek palette. I kept everything else neutral including the lips but stay tuned for tomorrow's look where I go bold on both the eyes and the lips.
