Reverse glitter nails is one of my fav nail design. Another fav is pastel colours and this beyond amazing pastel purple shade from Covergirl Outlast Stay Brilliant nail polish was so pretty on its own but even more so with blue and hints of purple glitter. I'm in love.

Olivia Munn was the standout beauty at the Time 100 Gala and for good reason. The actress was striking in a yellow Michael Kors gown, pin-straight lob and minimalistic makeup. It all came together to equal one striking combo. Further proves that great skin can be your best accessory.

Dove's worldwide campaign for real beauty keeps getting better and more inspiring. Case in point, check out their latest video/commercial/public service announcement where women were asked to describe their features as they are being sketched. Next a total stranger was asked to describe the same person and the sketches were compared side by side. What's proven is that as women, we tend to focus more on what we consider our flaws, which only us can see, while others may see them as features of admiration. Truly memorable.

What takes this even deeper is that the same was done with men in which they show that men tend to evaluate themselves more highly than others do. Take a look, it may either make you laugh or the very least, smile.

I just love the way these turned out. Playing with these tiny little gems was such a pleasure as they remind me of a lost treasure or what Elizabeth Taylor's jewellery box may have looked like. A girl can only dream.

Brows are so important on a face and to some is everything. However, a lot of people are afraid that filling in their brows makes them look fake. In addition to the right products and some techniques from this video, you are well on your way to hi-def, fierce yet natural looking brows.

For Hi-Def brows that is both natural and fierce, Anastasia of Beverly Hills products are the go to. The guru behind Kim Kardashian's brows is becoming if she already isn't, the brow god. All products can be found at

Anastasia Brow Wiz (Brunette), Anastasia Tinted Brow Gel (Granite), Anastasia Brow Powder Duo (Brunette)

Wearing your hair in the same flowy look or bun can become boring and predictable. Instead of jumping to get a haircut or changing up your colour, try a braided updo to bring your mane into spring and summer. As the days become longer and hotter, a spin on the everyday bun can bring that drama and newness that your strands are begging for. See how these stars wear one of this season's hottest trend.

While H&M releases pics from their summer campaign with Beyonce as their model, aren't we all getting serious tanned glowing skin envy? But why wait for summer to get that sun kissed glow that instantly makes you look slimmer, happier and more alive. Here are some of our top picks to safely fake it.

Step 1- Begin with a good exfoliator to remove built up dead skin all over the body. Gently buff over the surface of the entire body and dry thoroughly

Forever Red Golden Sugar Scrub Bath & Body Works

Step 2- Read instructions carefully to avoid streaks and bad tans. If you are tanning for the first time, gradually build your tan. Going from pale to very dark can be noticeable. Follow up with the illuminator to enhance glow and radiancy for that sun kissed look

St. Tropez Staycation Kit

Step 3- Maintain your bronze and enhance it with a subtle, smudge proof powder bronzer.

Kim Kardashian was ravishing in red this weekend as she paid a visit to their Kardashian Khaos store in Vegas. She was ever so ravishing in a center parted braided updo and bold red lips which was complemented by flawless radiant skin. Tres gorge!

Most people watch the MTV Movie Awards to see who's taking home the awards or even the performances but I watch to see what the stars are wearing, how they styled their hair and what makeup they're wearing. These are my top favs for this year but choices were slim pickings. Makeup was kept fairly neutral with the liner playing a large part of each of my top fav looks with nude lips except for Zoe Saldana who opted for a red lip and Karli Kloss who went with orange.

It's been a while since I last made a post and I apologize for that. Apart from being really busy lately, I'm not the most consistent person but I'm working on it. I've been doing some visualizing exercises lately of exactly what I want this blog to be because it started as a way for me to express my passion for all things beauty. Ofcourse I would love to share it with as many people as is possible, but I know deep down it's much more than that. As a person that believes in destiny and purpose, I know this blog has a bigger purpose, one of selflessness. So even though this started as a totally selfish project, I'm realizing every day that it's not so much about me anymore but more about sharing what God has blessed me with with others. Hope you enjoy :))
